"Swami Prabhudananda always wanted to provide basic education to the girl children of Darjeeling Hills. Thus he established Sardeshwari Girl's Govt. High School in 1946 in Darjeeling. The school teaches girls from some of the most economically and socially deprived section of Darjeeling, especially from the rustic tea gardens of the Hills.
